Russia is the main player in the geographical territory of Central Asia, which is actively involved in the security environment of the Iranian state in the region. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia has always sought to expand its strategy of influence in this important region as an important strategic backbone. The main purpose of the Russians was to narrow the field to its regional and transnational rivals, including China, the United States, NATO, Iran, and Turkey. The expansion of Russian influence in the Central Asian region in various areas has made it more difficult for other regional actors, including Iran. In this descriptive-analytical study, through a field study and expert opinion in the field of regional, geopolitical and geostrategic studies, a strategic analysis of the consequences of Russia's presence in the Iranian security environment was undertaken. According to the SWOT analysis output, the offensive strategy of "SO" was chosen as Iran's main strategy for dealing with Russian activity in the Central Asian security environment. Implementing the strategy chosen by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the basis of its strengths, seeks to exploit the opportunities for strategic security planning in the Central Asian region.
