Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate and explain the effects of population aging on Iran's national security. Research Method This descriptive-analytical study is an applied research and field data collection method. The statistical population of the present study included all individuals (faculty members of the university) who are somehow engaged in the field of study. Were selected due to various constraints, 50 randomly available for study. In this study, a researcher-made questionnaire was used to survey the field data, its face validity and reliability were confirmed by Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.809). In this study we used exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis model and related software such as SPSS and Amos for data analysis. According to the results of exploratory factor analysis, five economic, social, defense, security, political and demographic components can affect the national security of the country. Also, the results of confirmatory model showed that overall economic factor (0.49), social factor (0.38), defense-security factor (0.42), political factor (0.44) and demographic factor (0.23) Able to explain 80% of the variance in the impact of population aging on national security.
