Presenting the macro architecture framework of cyberspace with emphasis on political-security crises

Abstract

Abstract: The increasing use of cyberspace has led to the weakness of the government to deal with subversive social movements, resulting in a reduction in the time gap and an increase in the geographical scope of political-security crises. This weakness is due to the lack of a coordinated and integrated architecture of the government to deal with these social movements in cyberspace. Determining the framework of such an architecture is the main issue of this research. The purpose of this study is to present the macro-architectural framework of cyberspace with emphasis on political-security crises. The Method of This research is mixed based on step-by-step exploratory research design. In this way, first with a qualitative method using scientific articles and global experiences, the power of governance in crisis control and management and the power of new movements to create crisis in the cyber age are explained and with the aim of strengthening the power of governance, the macro architectural framework of cyberspace is presented. After that, with a quantitative method, the opinions of experts were obtained and the proposed framework was evaluated and validated. As a result of this research, the general structure of the national system for dealing with political-security crises in the cyber age has been presented as the high-level requirements required for the architecture which was the subject of this research.
