Abstract
The present study was conducted with the qualitative method with the aim of understanding the semantic consequences of the social tolerance of the spectators of the Iranian Premier League, emphasizing the sense of social security. The statistical population was a number of sports sociology experts, among whom 17 interviews were conducted with the purposeful sampling method and analyzed with the help of MaxQDA software. Interview, observation and field notes were used to collect information. The research findings were a set of primary themes that were collected during the open coding process and subcategories were extracted from them; Then, in the axial coding phase, the relationship between the subcategories and the consequences of social tolerance were determined in the form of the axial coding paradigm; In the selective coding stage, the course of the story was presented and the core category was drawn. The results showed; The consequences of social tolerance lead to empathic action and a sense of social security among the audience, and on the other hand, the lack of social tolerance weakens the social ties of the audience, whose outward representation; There will be an increase in violence. So; Observance of social justice, accountability of sports managers, improvement of media quality for more solidarity among spectators, creating a safe atmosphere in the stadium and finally promoting a culture of social tolerance among spectators seems very necessary.
