Abstract
Abstract
One of the characteristics of modern wars, including hybrid wars, is the use of an "effects-based" approach in these wars. In this approach, all components of power are used to achieve a goal against the enemy.
Media threats are also used against the other party in a synergistic interaction with other threats.
Therefore, the current research was conducted with the aim of reviewing the theoretical literature of media defense and extracting its strategies according to the characteristics of new threats.
The data was extracted based on Okoli and Shabram's guide and by reviewing the articles in three databases of MagIran, Noormags and Taylor and Francis.
A systematic review method, Theme analysis method and MaxQda software were used in the present study.
The results show that the most important features of modern threats include paying attention to the systemic connection between the centers of gravity of a country, the combined use of different elements of power, the intelligently and cumulatively combination of hard and soft power in order to achieve the desired effects, and special attention to software orientation.
Faced with this type of threats, which takes place with the synergy of all elements of national and transnational power, comprehensive defense is required
In the following, while providing a definition of media defense in the scope of all-round defense, media defense strategies under three groups of content, management and infrastructural-technological strategies were presented.
