Identifying and Prioritizing Effective Factors In The Design Of Native Smart Ports

Abstract

Ports are known as the beating heart of the economy and foreign trade of any country.Ports are considered as gateways of world trade for countries.About 85% of world trade is done through sea transportation. Due to the progress and expansion of globalization and the importance of speed in the exchange of goods, the smartening of ports has become an inevitable thing in this era.
This research seeks to identify and prioritize the influencing factors and components in the design of a local smart port.In the beginning, with library studies, adaptation (ports of the world) and by referring to reliable sources, the most important effective factors in the design of the native smart port of Ehsa and during an interview with the elites of the port, maritime and cyber fields, using the pastel model, the most important factors in the form of six The factor of cyber security, operation, information and communication technology, governance(management), port community, environment and 35 components were identified, counted and classified. Next, a questionnaire was designed and provided to relevant experts.The results extracted from the questionnaires were analyzed using software with the help of statistical methods, and the most important factors and effective components in the design of the native smart port were validated and prioritized.
The approach of this research is mixed (qualitative and quantitative).The type of research based on its results and achievements is a developmental-applied research and the research method is based on the nature and objectives of exploratory-descriptive research.
