West Asia is the center of a competition between international forces due to the geopolitical, geostrategic, geo-economic, geo-cultural position, and also is a region in which the interests of regional actors conflict with one another due to the diverse geography of the various ethnic and religious identities. In this regard, the West Asian region has been the target area for Western-led conflicts, especially in the post-Cold War era, which has gone beyond its regular and symmetrical practices and has become “hybrid warfare”. While it seems internal requirements have also been effective in evolution. This study, therefore, aims to investigate the available effective contexts for the emergence of hybrid warfare in the West Asia. This is a descriptive and applied research in which the combined methodology is based on library research for the study of West Asian countries and also using “Delphi method” to get the elites' opinions. According to the results of this study, the security, geopolitical and economic factors in the West Asia have been effective in the outbreak of hybrid wars as well as the future of this region always has the background and the foundation needed to create and grow the crisis.
