Social networks are one of the most important tools for globalization and play a very important role in laying the groundwork for creating shared value. With the growth and development of social networks, the need for social security of users has doubled. Considering the role of social security in creating shared value, this study aims to explain the position of social security in creating shared value in social networks. The present study is a descriptive study, correlating with applied purpose, because the results of its findings can be used to solve society's problems. The statistical population is the citizens of Tehran, who are members of at least one of the social networks. According to Cochran's formula for an uncertain statistical population, 389 social media users were selected as statistical samples. The data collection tool was a questionnaire whose validity and reliability were confirmed. The results indicate that social identity, personal identity and professional identity have a positive and significant effect on the creation of shared value in social networks. Social security also positively modulates the relationship between social identity, personal identity, and professional identity in creating shared values.
